This was the first time in 4 years that I was thrown into the sea!!!! Argh! Idea from Kaiyang. He got his retribution at the end when all the guys tao pok-ed him! Hee. Had great time playing games with them (i.e. animal, 20cents, not the milk game fer me!). Stay in contact yeah Simpsons? We’ll have alot more HTHT sessions to come! Buahahahha!

Special thanks to the FOC Committee 09/10! You guys were great! I feel that this is the first year where everyone are able to work together and listen to each other. No politics, no arguments. =) Mel and JiaLiang, GREAT JOB!!! =)

 

After SPMS FOC was supposed to be HALL 2 FOC, BUT I FELL SICK!!! =(  >39 deg fer 3 days on the go, and when it finally resided, Hall FOC ended!!! Owwww! Roomie said this year alot of tall and handsome guys! Missed it! OWWW!

School’s reopening next week! Till then~

Crabbie!!! July 24, 2009

Had Claypot Crab at Mellben Seafood(AMK branch) with Kel on Mon!!!! Look at the pictures!! It’s so yummy!!! Hehehe. I can still taste the creamy soup and the texture of the crab in my mouth.. YUMMY!

 

 

When I woke up today, I tapped on my Menu button on my hp (mine’s a Samsung F480). Next, I tapped on Alarms and there it is… my preset ‘Work!!’ alarm button, waking me up at 6.35am every weekday. I tapped on it again, and under Alarm activation, I chose ‘Off’ and ‘Save’. WHEE!!!! IT’S MY LAST DAY OF WORK TODAY!!! I NO LONGER HAVE TO WAKE UP AT 6.35 EVERY MORNING TO GET TO CLEMENTI!!!! HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, end of story. Bye!

Btw, here’s a clue for those trying out the Logic puzzle. The murderer is the Master. Try guessing who’s the victim from there! =)

Poll on Online shopping July 20, 2009

Trying something new.. A poll!! Recently had a pretty bad online shopping experience. A misunderstanding really. That website’s invoice stated that orders has been processed and items will reach Singapore within 7 working days. I thought they meant that my order will reach my house in 7 working days! So I waited for a week and it’s not here yet!

However, I bought a similar top for my friend (different colour though) and she received it just 2 days after I ordered. Furthermore, I received a mail from another customer (shld be competitor) that the website I just ordered from is a scam. !!!! Ahhh.. Plus I emailed them twice and they didn’t reply for a week! All this adds up to a REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE. But I do dearly want my tops~ Thus, started a poll for the fun of it. What do you people think about online shopping? Will list some pros and cons to help you make your choice! =P

Pros

• Provide competition to other shops and hence lower their prices
• A source of entertainment
• Convenient
• Able to source different opinions (some blogshops do give good advices, to encourage you to buy from them~)
• Keep up with trends easily

Cons

• It is just an excuse for spending
• You never know if it is a scam
• Transfer of money is never safe unless it is cold hard cash
• Encourage teens as young as 12 to enter the market, giving them false impression about how money is everything
• You don’t get to have a feel of the material, no idea about the quality and sizes

Logic Puzzle 1

Got this book, Logic Puzzles by Norman D. Willis, for my 2nd anniversary! Haa. Loads of logic puzzles inside! Shall write 1 or 2 here for you guys who’re bored out there! =D

This requires some thinking, but its not hard!!

A murder had occurred but was somewhat unusual in the sense that not only is the culprit unknown, but also the victim! The people involved are the master and the servant of the house, and 3 guests (A, B, C) who stayed over that night.

1. If A was the culprit, then C was the victim.
2. If B was the victim, the servant was the culprit.
3. If C was the victim, B was the culprit.
4. If the servant was the culprit, the victim was C.
5. The servant was not available until the next morning, and was not able to provide an alibi.
6. If C was the culprit, then B was the victim.
7. If B was the culprit, the servant was the victim.

So who’s the culprit and who’s the victim? Answers will be reviewed in the next few posts. =P

it’s a GREAT weekend! =) July 6, 2009

Had loads of fun this weekend. First up is our Before… After… Youth Rally! Alot of people came! Whee~ After that, Soph, JianHui, XiaoFeng, JunRong and I went to eat supper @ Xin Wang, Sembawang! XiaoFeng went home after that, and the rest of us played games throughout the night. Haa. Super fun. Slept at 5am, and woke at 7 ’cause JianHui wanna treat us breakfast!!! =D Thanks JH!

That’s Sophia! We tricked her – while she was sleeping, we slipped out of our house and called to tell her that we’re at kfc. She calmly told us to help her to order and said she’ll be coming down. Haa. We waited fer her at the elevator anyway~

After that, went to meet Kel at 1130 fer our 2nd anniversary!!! =) Barely had 2 hours of sleep! Concussed at Starbucks in Wisma. Haa. Went to Borders and I got my Logic Puzzle Book!!! WHEE~~ SO HAPPY! Anyway, Kel’s very sweet! He designed a calendar with our photos and put it into an organiser as a gift fer me! =D Super uber nice. So touched! Hee. Thanks darling!!!!! HAPPY SECOND ANNIVERSARY! =D

Office blues~ July 1, 2009

Ahh!! Sitting in office from 830 – 6 everyday from Monday to Friday is having its effect on me!

Slowly… but surely… I’m getting…. F A T! FAT! AHHHH!!! All the symptoms are showing, tummy appearing, flabby arms, bigger thighs.. OH NO! Googled tips on losing weight in office. Haa. Found this article. =D

Get up in the morning: dilute brine – Before breakfast, you drink a large glass of dilute brine to help intestine peristalsis. You’ll certainly not worry about belly fat.

Work in the morning: lemonade – Citric acid can help gastrointestinal detoxification and accelerate metabolism. The smell of lemon can also ease the nerves and improve your work efficiency. It can be said that you kill two birds with one stone.

Before lunch: warm water – Drink warm water before lunch. First, it can fill belly and reduce diet; second, supply body with moisture and speed up metabolism.

Afternoon tea time: flower tea – You’ll feel hungry when afternoon tea time. Potato chips, cookies or soft drinks are delicious foods which cause your fat. At this time, you can drink a cup of rose tea or vanilla tea to suppress appetite and care your skin.

Dinner: vegetable juice – It is the correct weight loss way to reduce the carbohydrate and sugar intake by drinking water. So supper based in protein and vegetable juice can not only supply you with low-calorie and cellulose, but also accelerate the fat consumption.

Haa. Pretty interesting right? Kel says it so not feasible and ZQ says I gotta bring 5 bottles of liquid everyday. Lol. In an effort to lose weight, I drank alot of water today!!! I finished 550ml of water within 2 hours! AMAZING RIGHT?! =P Meanwhile, gonna invest in a tennis racket and play with Kel weekly! Whee.. sounds fun. But gotta give it a try before really buying one. From what I remember, it’s really heavy and tiring. Hopefully Kel will be able to motivate me. Buahahaha. =D

MC fer 2 days!! June 26, 2009

Whee~ Took mc fer 2 days on Tuesday and Wednesday! ZQ wasn’t around on Monday, so effectively working on Thurs and Fri this week. Haa. HAPPY! From this intern experience, I really don’t want a 9 to 5 job next time. =X But then again, what can I do? =(

Highlighted my hair! Looking forward to LinLing’s wedding this Sat! My uths took loads of effort to look nice.. Haa. We started discussing about what we gonna wear like weeks ago, and some of us even went to do our hair. LOL. Excited! Gonna bring my polaroid! =P
