No owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar or drink the same drink.

I love my internship!! June 11, 2009

Whee~ I love my internship at Ngee Ann Poly!! =) My supervisor just brought ZhiQuan and I to Copthorne Orchid for buffet lunch! After that we have got the chance to go to one of the lecturer’s house to feed her dogs! Wahahhaa! Totally enjoying! 3 hours lunch!! =)) HAPPY!!!

I’m hooked on the song I Do (Cherish You) by 98 Degrees! Old song, still, it’s classic.

Was thinking what to blog about. Churning, churning, churning and NOTHING came out! =(

Turned to ZhiQuan fer help, and he said, “Nothing to blog don’t blog lo, dou mei you ling gan, bu yao bi zi ji [don’t have inspiration anyway, don’t force yourself].”

Totally agree. Haa. Anyway saw a video on Facebook, showcasing Jap guys dancing nude, using only a big red fan to cover their private part. Pretty gross, but amazing they can play baseball and volleyball without exposing! Lol. Tried to find the video but to no avail. To those who are really interested, please approach ZhiQuan! =P

Nissan vs Toyota June 6, 2009

Me: “Dear, ZhiQuan and I mastered the skill of differentiating Nissan cars.”

Kel: “Ok, that’s interesting…”

Me: “I show you my skills, for example (point to a car), that one is a… (thinking very hard.. seems to be a cross between Sunny and Latio but don’t want to lao kui) …Sunny!”

After a moment…

Kel: “Dear, that one is Toyota la..~”

Lol. So paiseh! =P

Now having mastered Nissan cars, we’re moving on to Mazda!! Finally utilizing some brains in workplace.

Circle Line and Prawning!! June 3, 2009

Circle line is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Took from Serangoon LRT to Bishan MRT, takes only 4 minutes!!! I have tuition at Kovan area, and usually I gotta take 136 from Kovan to Ang Mo Kio MRT, in which journey + waiting of bus will take around 45 minutes! Now it’s cut down to 20 minutes at most! Cool!! Fantastic!! Amazing!! Marvelous!! Buahaha! Saw JinHe on the way back from Bishan MRT. =P Here’s a picture from Kovan CCL.

Went prawning with my youths on Saturday!  Check out the photos here! Had a great deal of fun. Each rod caught about 5 prawns on average, but at the end of the day, SUPER ALOT OF PRAWNS left.. Even I, who didn’t get a chance at prawning, ate around 7-10 prawns? Hee. One observation made that day, prawns love children. The kids just need to dip their bait inside and the next moment you know, the line went taut and the prawn is caught. SO EASY! Not like the others, gotta wait fer 1.5 hours to get a catch. =P

Oh! Totally forgot that my homepage is now wordpress! Haa. And I’m reminded that I need to at least write a few lines..

Think I’ll be growing horizontally during intern days. What with the char siew puff and egg tarts my supervisor buy fer ZhiQuan and I every Wednesday, and heavy breakfast like Mee Soto or Nasi Lemak, plus the longing fer lunch time and high tea to come. Hee. Ultimate piggy. Kinda like the year 1 hall days, where there isn’t anything to do, plus a lil homesick when my happiest moment is eating meals with Becs. Hee. That’s all fer now! =P

I’m lazy to blog ’cause I’m supposed to post pictures in Seoul but my harddisk is not with me.

I’m lazy to blog ’cause most of the time I’m in office, reading a novel or watching shows.

I’m lazy to blog ’cause I need to think of the title whenever I write a new post.

I’m lazy to blog ’cause I’m plain lazy. =P

Remedies:
I’m going to set wordpress as my homepage.

I’m going to write at least a few sentences everyday when wordpress.com appears on my Interner Explorer.

I’m going to act busy and type some stuff on my computer less people think I’m slacking compared to ZhiQuan (who by the way is also slacking but looks convincingly hardworking).

I’m going to blog ’cause Shikky and ZhiQuan keep asking me to. =P

I’m going to blog ’cause I’m bored.

Just back from Seoul and am starting internship at Ngee Ann poly now! Working fer 2 days already, and everything went great. Gonna see me blog frequently ’cause intern’s really slack at times. Don’t know if I gonna still be as slack frm next week onwards! Hee. Gonna update about my Seoul trip real soon. =) Till then!

Exams again~~! April 20, 2009

Made an observation – the last ‘EXAMS’ post is just 7 entries away. Haa! Proves how much I’ve neglected my blog. But surprisingly, there’re still readers day after day. AMAZING. You people love reading the old stuff. Haa. Jokes aside~(Kel’s phrase).

Exams period now, 4 papers in total. Just passed one, Eco-Architecture in Urban Environment. Haa, the prof gave the exam questions during lecture, and we’re supposed to just memorize the answer. Seems easy at first, but the answers totally got no link to each other at all! Super hard to memorise. Just post some here and amaze you guys, and later amaze myself when I come back to read in a few weeks’ time.

• Wash Basin-Toilet System – Water used for washing your hands are reused for flushing toilets.
• Solar panels installed at Clubhouse, providing for lights and water heater.
• Built in NS direction, with prevailing winds cooling the building.
• Stores and reuse rainwater as cooling agent.
• Use of motion detectors and light sensors.

And so on and so forth… Haa. You get the idea.

Two more papers coming up tomorrow, Coding Theory in the morning and Biz Law in the evening, both openbook. One thing about open book is that I don’t feel so worried about the paper, which made me don’t feel like studying totally. Or rather, see no need to study. Haa. Everything’s in tutorial and txtbk isn’t it? Geez. Last paper’s Real Analysis II before I fly off to Seoul on that evening~ Yippee.. Seoul, I’m coming!! Again!!!!

Recently I’m so addicted to Bejeweled Blitz in Facebook. Hated that game initially, just wanted to try it out. Slowly, I realise I can’t seem to move out of the lowest position at all. Now, after moving out of the position, I’m addicted to the game. To convince myself that I’m not addicted, I told myself that I’m just placing the jewels together so they won’t be lonely, that’s all. To further prove my point, I played the game with no hurry, logic being I’m not wanting to score high, I really just want the jewels to be happier together. Haa. Ok, I’m addicted. =P

Okies, study hard for all! Don’t take reading my blog as an excuse!!! =P
